ABOUT
ME!
Emma is an Australian performer, choreographer, and director, who has had the privilege of working internationally in Australia, Europe and Malaysia. She graduated from the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music and is thrilled to be returning to CQCM as an alumni, directing The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in June 2025.
Emma's other notable achievements are choreographing the international musical collaborations of West Side Story (2024, Kuala Lumpur) and Evita (2022, Kuala Lumpur) with The Culture Exchange Australia and Bentley Music Academy Malaysia.
From a young age, Emma has studied RAD Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz (theatre and commercial), and Modern. She also has extensive experience in dancing, choreographing and teaching American Style Ballroom and Latin dance styles including rumba, cha-cha, east coast swing, samba, waltz, foxtrot, tango and many more. Emma's love of performing as a dancer, singer, actor, has taken her all over the world, and since late 2023, Emma has been based in Portugal as a freelance performer and dance instructor. She is excited to now be returning to Australia, bringing back the knowledge and skills she has gained as an international freelance artist.
Her other experiences in the performing industry include choreographing and performing original work in Europe, co-directing children's theatre in both Australia and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for The Culture Exchange (Aladdin Jr. 2024 KL, Moana Jr. 2023 KL and AUS, The Lion King Jr. 2022 AUS, Staging a New World 2021 AUS), choreographing and performing Latin and Ballroom showcases, performing in cabaret shows, and acting in character roles for Village Roadshow theme parks.
